Hyde Honey Co is a family owned business, Steve is the Beekeeper, Belinda is the honey lady at the market and we have 3 honey tasters, Molly, Pippa and Blake. We live in Papakaio and our beehives are based in the Strath Taieri area inland from Dunedin. 

We have a passion for bees and want to provide the highest quality honey products to local customers in an environmentally sustainable way. We believe the unique environment that our bees collect nectar together with sustainable beehive management gives us a raw product that is of the highest quality. 

We manage our hives to ensure a higher level of clover nectar makes it into each jar, this means a flavorful raw product. This honey together with an award winning creaming process results in a pure white product that is both unique and delicious.

All our packaging is recyclable and reusable so customers can enjoy the best quality honey in an environmentally sustainable way. Customers can also return their Hyde Honey jar to us at the market and receive a $2 discount of their next jar.
